Yoga at the Farm

Donation-based yoga at the Side Yard Farm. This fun, low-pressure class is open to all movement-lovers regardless of yoga experience. You can expect a mix of mindful movement, meditation, and breath work. All ages are welcome, so long as the little’s can respect the intention of the space. Class is facilitated by Zeyah Rogé, a somatic psychotherapist who has been teaching yoga for over 10 years.

Mason Bee Workshop

Mason bees are very effective pollinators. Just two or three females can pollinate a mature apple tree! Pollinators serve an important role in our local food web, we need them! This hands-on workshop taught by Jen Davis will teach you basic bee-keeping, the life of mason bees, how to construct mason bee habitats and what to plant for the little pollinators.

Learn to Build Your Own Wood Fired Cob Oven

This workshop is intended for those who want to learn how to build a wood fired cob oven. We will cover each step in the building process, from the ground up. This is a hands-on workshop with local artist Daniel Duford. He will cover the how-to’s for finding and testing materials, constructing the foundation, laying the hearth floor, forming the oven cavity, formulating and applying oven thermal layer, formulating and applying oven insulation layer, and more.

The Lost Table – Grief Suppers

The Side Yard Farm & Kitchen invites you to join The Lost Table. A table that is resilient, strong and safe for those who have experienced a significant loss- partner, parent, sibling or friend. We’ve decided to take our farm grief group and turn it into a dinner party. Take a seat, bring a dish and feel free to talk about your loss in good company. How do you deal with your grief when you are struggling to understand it? I lost my Dad to pancreatic cancer. I know there are so many of you out there going through what I am. Join our table.

Bike In Movie Nights

Spend those hot summer nights at The Side Yard every second Wednesday of the month starting in June. Enjoy local bevies and a concession stand packed with farmy movie snacks. We host one amazing food vendor, paired with a distillery, brewery, or winery every month throughout the summer. Bike on in and bring the family!

Annual Summer Starts Sale

​Come on out to the farm every season in late April-June and choose from over ten different varieties of heirloom, specialty and cherry tomato starts. We also have other summer starts, lemon cucumbers, eggplant, squash and many varieties of peppers! All organic and nurtured with tons of love.
